Targeting Cancer Metabolism: ASNS Drug Discovery

Our team assisted by IU Cancer Center, is developing first-in-class inhibitors against human asparagine synthetase (ASNS), a metabolic enzyme linked to aggressive cancers and treatment resistance. Using high-resolution cryo-EM and structure-guided drug design, we have uncovered a new mechanism of inhibition that opens the door to innovative metabolism-based therapeutics. We are now advancing lead compounds toward preclinical validation. Philanthropic support is critical to accelerate optimization, cancer model testing, and translation toward clinical development.

Your contribution helps move promising ASNS-targeted therapies from discovery to patients.
